Everyone is a soldier or no one is.
Believing your life meaningful
is avoiding the applicable statistic.
II.
When establishing importance
bear in mind the inherent dangers.
Separation—a sublime ruse:
knowledge, like money
an accumulation for the ego.
III.
Language: a culture's currency
spent frivolously on worry.
Legacies that incur debt.
IV.
In the end only stones.
A dead man's memory lingers
for how many generations?
V.
Asked to follow
one must redefine horror.
